Verifier
Check a receipt.
Paste a receipt copied from OrderedStrength. This checks two separate things: whether the prediction inside it is byte for byte the one that was sealed, and whether that fingerprint is inside a day already published to our public record. No account, no sign in, and nothing you paste is stored.
In the app the button is Copy the proof, in the My Record card on your dashboard, and again in Full Intelligence under Biological, Trust Intelligence. It appears once Jerry has graded five of his own sealed predictions, because below five an accuracy rate is mostly noise. If you are not there yet, use the sample receipt below and you will see exactly what the answer looks like.
What this proves, and what it does not
A receipt carries a prediction, a random number that never leaves your phone and is what makes the fingerprint impossible to guess, and a SHA-256 fingerprint committed before the set. The verifier recomputes the fingerprint from the prediction and the nonce. If they match, the prediction was not edited afterwards. If a single character changed, the fingerprint cannot match.
The second check answers a different question: was this fingerprint already public before anyone could have known the answer. Every fingerprint we hold is folded into one root hash per day and pushed to a public repository. If yours is inside a published day, this page asks our server for the path from your fingerprint up to that day's root, then walks that path in your own browser and compares the result against the root in our copy of the published listing. Our server cannot make that arithmetic come out right for a fingerprint it never held.
It dates the prediction to the day, not to the hour. A day closes at midnight UTC, which is early evening across the Americas, and is published in the small hours after it, so a prediction and the set it was made for sit inside the same published day. That rules out a prediction invented after the result and slipped into a day that is already public. It does not, on its own, order your seal against your set. The limit is stated here rather than left for you to find. The days published so far are on the record.
